Kyle Balter is the Director of Recruitment for Octagon Professional Recruiting, a leading provider of Accounting, Finance and Human Resources recruitment & staffing with offices throughout South Florida. Prior to entering the professional recruitment industry, Kyle earned his accounting degree at the University of Florida and then worked as a CPA with Deloitte. Kyle specializes in identifying and placing top talent in accounting/finance roles across various sectors ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies. Kyle’s knowledge of the market, people, and business allow for valued contributions to the future of organizations. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys hitting the golf course, cheering on many sports teams (especially his alma mater – the Florida Gators), competing on the Peloton and staying active within the community. With a blend of professional dedication and personal interests, Kyle continues to strive for excellence both in his career and personal life.

Since founding the South Florida-based company in 1997, Doug has built Palmer Kent Associates into one of the most effective and innovative legal recruiting firms in the world. The firm focuses on supporting and advising attorneys at all levels to enhance their professional careers at prominent law firms, financial institutions and corporations.
Prior to his career in executive legal search, Doug spent seven years practicing law in Florida, including several years at a well-regarded Miami-based trial firm specializing in complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. His experience practicing law combined with his real-world experience in recruiting and career placement has allowed Doug to effectively counsel and advocate for his clients and candidates alike. In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, watching Florida Gator sports and competing in track, road races and marathons. In addition, Doug actively coaches high school cross country and track athletes as well as competitive age group athletes.

Evan Nierman is the Founder and CEO of Red Banyan, which provides strategic communications counsel, crisis management and training to senior business leaders, government officials and private individuals.
Evan and his team advise and represent corporations and non-profit organizations across a wide range of industries, often guiding them through high-stakes, complex situations and conceptualizing and executing effective communications campaigns.
He is a regular contributor to various top publications including Entrepreneur, Fast Company and Forbes, and author of two bestselling books Crisis Averted: PR Strategies to Protect Your Reputation and the Bottom Line, and The Cancel Culture Curse.
