DaHui Lawyers recognised as a leading PRC law firm by asialaw
asialaw has once again ranked DaHui Lawyers in nine practice areas: Technology and Telecommunications, Corporate and M&A, Dispute Resolution, Media and Entertainment, Regulatory, Private Equity, Energy, Competition/Antitrust, and Investment Funds.
In its assessment, asialaw also notes DaHui’s “extensive experience” in capital markets work and highlights several of DaHui’s recent key matters from across its practice areas, including, among others, acting as lead counsel for J&T Express on its precedent-setting IPO on the HKEX, acting as Nvidia’s monitoring trustee for antitrust compliance, and advising Wuhan Lejiate Real Estate in a USD 606 million (RMB 4.4 billion) real estate and construction dispute.
Three new partners join DaHui Lawyers
The firm is excited to announce the addition of partners Mr. Wayne Wang and Ms. Dongjing Zhang to its Wuhan hub and Mr. Kenny Yu to its Shanghai team.
Wayne Wang
Wayne brings rich local Wuhan experience to the firm and is our first partner based entirely in our hub in the gateway to the heart of China. He has particularly wide familiarity with the industries in the region, having served in multiple long-term in-house positions at cutting-edge companies operating in Wuhan and beyond. Wayne’s practice expertise also covers the gamut from transactional through regulatory to dispute resolution matters.
Dongjing Zhang
With more than 22 years of legal practice, Dongjing focuses on real estate and construction projects, litigation and arbitration, and more. She is particularly deft at handling complex and difficult legal affairs involving various government departments, and her work in the legal world has greatly impacted the physical landscape and development of Hubei Province.
Kenny Yu
Joining our team from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP (Shanghai & Hong Kong), Kenny brings to our firm a wide range of international experience in PE and other forms of investment. The Legal 500 ranked him as a “Rising Star”, and his clients refer to him as an “outstanding bilingual commercial/deal lawyer” who “stands out of the crowd”. His admissions include New South Wales, Australia as a Solicitor, New Zealand as a Barrister and Solicitor, and Hong Kong as a Solicitor.
We look forward to the new energy and skills that these talented lawyers will bring to our firm as we continue to provide one-stop service for all of our clients’ needs in the PRC and beyond.
