Bowditch strengthen its business & finance practice with new partner
Chris represents clients on a wide variety of business matters, including corporate structuring, equity and debt financings, acquisitions and strategic joint ventures, as well as commercial agreements, technology licensing, outsourcing and other business matters. Chris also brings a wealth of experience advising his clients on transactions that involve complex global or cross-border components, including hundreds of investments and acquisitions in the United States, Asia, Europe, South America and Africa.
He works with many different kinds of clients that range from startups, growth-stage companies and closely held family businesses, to venture and private equity funds, partnerships and entrepreneurs.

Chris regularly advises corporate clients on day-to-day corporate matters, including employee incentive programs, vendor contracts, employment agreements, corporate governance and securities law compliance. He also counsels distressed companies and their stakeholders on corporate restructurings, workouts and spin-offs.
He has industry specific experience that includes mobile Internet, SaaS, medical devices, digital advertising, fintech, social media and clean tech, among others.
Before joining Bowditch, Chris was a partner in the Boston office of a global law firm. He worked internationally for more than a decade, co-launching a U.S. firm’s first international office in China. He also was a founding partner of another major firm’s China venture capital group.
A graduate of Columbia University School of Law, Chris received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
