haymacintyre's Natasha Frangos recognised as global role model

MSI's London based UK accounting member haysmacintyre is proud to announce that their influential Managing Partner, Natasha Frangos, has been named in INvolve’s global Empower Role Model Lists 2024.

Natasha features in the Executives List which recognises exceptional leaders who are driving inclusion for people of colour in business.

Spearheaded by Natasha, the top-20 London firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors has played an active role in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create a more inclusive future for employees. Under Natasha’s leadership, the award-winning firm has revised its early talent strategy to ensure recruitment from all socio-economic backgrounds, resulting in increased diversity in graduate talent.

Natasha, of Greek Cypriot heritage, has actively reinforced inclusion within the workplace and championed flexible working and gender balance, including new policies to support women and new parents. Her efforts have improved the firm’s diversity metrics, including a reduced gender pay gap, from 12% to 5.5% for 2023, and increased female representation in management. This includes 44% of the firm’s Management Team being female, alongside 39% of females holding senior manager, director and partner titles. Natasha has also challenged ways of working, including rolling out firmwide training in specific areas such as unconscious bias, being an ally, neurodiversity, micro aggressions, bullying and banter.

Natasha’s advocacy for diversity and support for empowerment initiatives extends beyond the firm and she actively utilises opportunities to promote inclusivity and drive change for women in accountancy. An active role model within the finance and business community, Natasha has used her position in the community to champion the benefits of a more diverse workforce alongside mentoring support to inspire the next generation of leaders. This includes participation in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ RISE initiative – a social mobility programme, including workshops, problem-solving and teamwork skills for pupils at schools across the country – which saw Natasha engage with pupils at a school in Croydon.

Commenting on the accolade, Natasha Frangos, Managing Partner at haysmacintyre, said: “I’m honoured to be featured in this year’s Empower Role Model Lists supported by YouTube within the Executives List. At haysmacintyre, we value the positive impact that a diverse workforce brings to the firm, as well as to our clients, and we recognise that our people are our strength. It’s important that workplaces address the inherent biases in society around perceptions of women and people of colour. This must be a collective societal effort to create lasting change and includes challenging how people instinctively deal with those who are different to themselves – which is why I’m so passionate about our firmwide initiatives, such as unconscious bias training. I’m a firm advocate for creating an environment where people can be themselves and speak up, as this brings out the best in our teams. We’re committed to shift the needle towards inclusion within our firm and create a workplace which enables everyone to succeed in their career. I’ll continue to use my position to influence and share my expertise to advocate for inclusion both within haysmacintyre and beyond.”

Founder and CEO of INvolve, Suki Sandhu OBE, said: “I’m so thrilled to be celebrating this global group of trailblazing Executives, Future Leaders and Advocates for people of colour in business. All the individuals within these lists are championing inclusion and leveraging their expertise and knowledge to drive impactful initiatives and strategic change within their organisations. It’s vital that people of colour across global organisations can succeed and achieve career success, and these Role Models are essential drivers of change who are smashing barriers to progress. We could not effect change without them leading the way.”
