MSI Finnish law firm member Lukander Ruohola HTO successfully advised Raisio Plc on the divestment of its cattle feed business to Swedish Lantmännen.
Finnish group Raisio has announced that it has signed an agreement to sell Raisioagro’s cattle feed business to Lantmännen Agro Oy. Raisio’s cattle feed business accounted for 35 per cent of the Finnish cattle feed market with sales of 74 million euro in 2017.
The transaction will be worth €34 million and the arrangement will be conducted as a share transaction. The transfer will take place in September 2018, upon approval from the Finnish competition authorities.
