Vanhier B.V. participates in EU-funded energy project REVALUE

MSI's Dutch accounting member Vanhier is participating in a project which is co-funded by the EU. The project, called Revalue, started in March 2015 and will end on 28 February 2019. The REVALUE project aims to lead the development of appraisal norms and standards that recognise energy efficiency (EE) value in social and private residential real estate.

The role of Vanhier in the project was to consult with the other team members, to provide feedback and input and more specifically to investigate the possible impact in the future on financial accounting and auditing standards in regard to the valuation of residential properties. Marco Koot, an accounting partner of Vanhier, has recently written a summary article outlining the findings regarding financial accounting and auditing.
